A la Carte fee for the workshop reserves a spot for you in a fiction workshop with Rebecca Makkai or Matt Bondurant, or a poetry workshop with Seth Brady Tucker. Once the fee is paid we will contact you (before May 1st) for up to 18 pages of your work. This fee only includes the workshop, but not the other events and offerings at SWC (see full tuition fee offer for those options). Your manuscript will be critiqued by workshop members (including professional writers such as fellows and the faculty workshop leader) over the course of 5 days. A la Carte payees for the workshop may use the premises during workshop, but must pay for all other events and receptions through the website.
Writers may still enroll after the deadline, but note that their workshop manuscripts will likely not be critiqued fully ahead of time!
